![]() ![]() What does it mean when a person places a rubber duck on your Jeep?Īnyone driving a Jeep Wrangler knows about the Jeep owner salute- to smile and wave as as a compliment to any Jeep Wrangler driver as they pass by. Jeep owners buy little rubber ducks, write messages on them, and leave them on or in other Jeeps as a way to spread some smiles.” Now there’s a new way to reach out, and it’s called Jeep ducking. They go on to say that, “The concept is very simple: people who drive Jeep Wranglers wave to other Wrangler drivers as they go by. In other words, the DMV will not actually be able to track you down or even find if your car has been stolen.Duck duck Jeep? If you’re a Jeep owner, you’re not new to this, you’re true to this!įor the rest of us laypeople, here’s the skinny-jeans on duck duck Jeep.Īccording to Canada’s South Coast Today, “It may sound quacky, but Jeep ducking is a real thing.” My guess is that its a legal loophole that is only used for people who can’t legally have a car. So technically you could be getting a car tag that is essentially useless. It only has to know the last 6 digits of it. Its funny because when I first saw the concept, the idea was that you could get your car tag that way, but it turns out that DMV doesn’t actually have to give out your license number. ![]() If your car is stolen, you can still get a tag and get your car back. The way this system is supposed to work is that you register your vehicle, and once it is registered, you give your car license number to the DMV. This concept fails miserably when youd consider that you are saving money for something that doesnt even allow you to save money for car insurance. The whole point of registering a vehicle is to save money for a car tag and thus save you money. While it does give you a discount on your car, it doesn’t do anything for yourself. Instead of saving some money for car insurance, they’re saving money for a car tag. It gives them the chance to get a discount on their car, but nothing more. The whole idea of registering a vehicle is that it allows people to save money. I know a lot of people who drive SUVs and think that they are the epitomy of luxury, and I know a lot of people who only drive minivans. ![]() It’s a great idea, but I’m not sure that you should be using or thinking about any tool that lets people drive less. It’s going to help someone who needs to get their car looked at, but it’s not going to help any one person get the most value from their car.Īs it turns out, the tag is a tool that lets people to register their vehicles so their owners can get a discount on their car. I can see the value in the tag and it’s a great idea, but I just don’t really think that the tag is going to actually help one person get the most money from their car. Yeah I’ve already seen the tag on the website. I know that there are many people who would like to get the tag as a way to increase the value of their cars. These things are always going to look different to every person (which is why the tag itself is a fun idea) and to people who need to get their cars looked at each day. People are always going to want to know how to get the most money out of their cars. I would rather have people think about the car more than to be stuck in traffic for the day. Sure, it’s a fun idea, but it’s not something I want to see more than once a year. Even if you dont make a profit off of the tag, it can still be a great way to get people to think about your car. They’re a great way to increase a car’s value so that people are more likely to buy it. ![]() The tag itself is a great way to add some fun to your car and I know that this is a popular request, but I think it’s really a great way to get people to stop and think about their cars if they see one of these. These duck duck jeep tags are printed with a duck and duck, duck duck, duck duck, and I’m pretty sure that if you look closely you can see the duck duck. Well, they are a fun and unique way to create a cool and unique looking tag on your car. I’m not sure if you’ve seen these duck duck jeep tags before, but I’m guessing that some of you have been asking yourselves, “What’s a duck duck jeep tag?”. ![]()
